The awareness for terrorism began to increase when gunmen attacked Charlie Hebdo magazine last year and killed 12 people in Paris. People from all over the world stood up for the victims and all the leaders from the world met in Paris and walked together, arm in arm, to draw attention for these terror attacks. And this was a special, beautiful and unfamiliar moment for us all, to see all the leaders became one.

But meanwhile, other parts of the world were also dealing with terrorism so badly. Thousands of people died at the terror attacks in Tunisia, Pakistan, Lebanon, China, Israel, Libya, Denmark, Egypt, Jerusalem, Germany and many more. Here in Turkey, more then 300 people died because of terror attacks in 2015 and no one paid attention for what happened. Last Sunday, another terror attacked happened and 35 people were killed, in the heart of our capital city Ankara. But nor the leaders visited our country, neither the people said "I am Ankara".

Apart form the political issues or other disagreements, when it comes to terrorism we are all equal. If innocent people are dying, there's no difference between Europe or Middle East, Asia or America. If you complain about terrorism then why don't you come to Ankara and unite with us?

Now it's time for Ankara, it's time to be in Ankara. The world leaders should become one again. As Atatürk said: "Peace at home, peace in the world".

So we repeat the English musician James Taylor's question and call all the leaders around the world: You were Charlie, you were Paris. Will you be Ankara?
